  11. Can anyone tell me how to test for the vertical blank within a Windows program?
  12. (or the position of the electron beam, ie of the monitor)

  14. This is to provide flicker-free animation, which requires updating an image
  15. uninterrupted by the monitor refresh.

  17. There is probably not a generic solution, so just VGA specific code would be
  18. excellent.
