  12. I am just starting to  convert my VB apps to MicroSoft C7, and am
  13. getting bogged down in the sample apps that are supplied in the SDK. Has
  14. anyone got a generic Windows skeleton program that they can send me
  15. (including .RC .DEF and .MAK files) PLEASE!  I do not care about being
  16. inundated, the more versions that I can get, the better (IMHO).

  18. All I want is an app that can:

  20. Open a window and put some (variable) text in it.
  21. Check a private .INI file
  22. Have a menu (this is about all I can do at the moment, thanks to GENERIC)

  24. I have the Petzold book on order via our library, but they expect
  25. delivery in months rather than days.
