- There are 2 problems that I am experiencing with MS Word for Windows 2.0
- One is concerning the view of the page. When I click on the button on
- the toolbar that lets me view the entire page of my document, it doesn't
- show the justification correctly. My text extends beyond the boundaries
- on the right side. I have the driver for my video card installed
- correctly and it is running in 600x800 mode.
-
- The second problem is concerning the fonts. I had just helped a friend
- install in Windows 3.1 and Word 2.0. When we ran Word, the little box
- that displays the font name said "Tms Rmn" instead of the default
- True Type "Times New Roman." When we clicked on the down arrow to see the
- rest of the list, it was blank. Nothing was there. The funny thing was
- that if we type in the name of the font that we wanted like, Arial, for
- example, we would get it. The document would be typed in Arial. Word
- was recognizing the fonts but not displaying them on the list. The same
- thing occurred in Character under the Format menu. We checked MS
- Write and the fonts showed up there. We checked the fonts under the
- Control Panel and they were all installed.
-
- I would appreciate any suggestions or help. Thanks.
