  14. I recently got my hands on a used WYSE 386/16 PC with 4M RAM, 1M Trident, 
  15. 68+20M hard disk and Intel 387/25. Now that I installed Win 3.1, I get this 
  16. very annoying WARNING from WIN (not exactly these words...):

  18.     "Your Intel 80386 processor is not reliable on 32 bit
  19.     multiplications. Usually Windows can handle these situations,
  20.     but You might want to replace the processor.
  21.  
  22.     Press any key to continue..."

  24. If I hit any key, Win starts and runs normally (in enhanced mode). The point 
  25. is that this message wasn't there when I got this machine with another 
  26. person's win3.1 which I wanted to replace.

  28. I know this PC is a bit old, but it would do the job. I'd just want to get 
  29. rid of that WARNING, and if possible, by some other means than
  30.     - replacing the processor(card)
  31.     - shutting my eyes/the monitor during win start
  32.     - buying a new machine
  33.  
  34. I can imagine there would exist some system.ini -setting like "disable 32 
  35. bit multiplications=1" or something.
