- Has anyone else noticed that running xtree for windows in enhanced
- mode hoses dos?
-
- After installing Xtree for windows on a very stable machine, everything
- worked fine. Xtree seemed a marginally useful program over the functionality
- of NDW2.0, The directory browsing was much faster, and mounting .zip files
- as drives is nifty and useful.
-
- After rebooting my system I noticed that after running Xtree, any DOS session
- would cause the "Your app has violated system integrity" message. and exiting
- windows would hang the system.
-
- I reinstalled xtree and the problem went away, until I rebooted, then it
- re-appeared. It is very consistent, and only happens after or during an Xtree
- session.
-
- I also noticed the viewers for Xtree are very slow, and totally incorrect.
- The amiPro viewer GPF's, and the Word for windows viewer shows very narrow
- columns when lookingt at wfw2.0 files.
