  13. For those looking for a less expensive, international online service, you
  14. might want to consider GEnie.  I dumped CIS in favor of GEnie long ago, 
  15. primarily due to the big $$$ delta between the two.  GEnie Star*Services
  16. costs a flat $5.95 per month (or is that $4.95?) and for that you get
  17. unlimited mail privileges and a host of other standard features.  The
  18. computer roundtables (forums, software libraries, etc) and other specialized
  19. areas of interest cost you $5.95 per hour (evenings/weekends/holidays) at
  20. 300/1200/2400 baud.  And their automated telecomm package, Aladdin, is free
  21. and is available in PC, Atari ST, Mac and Amiga versions.  It's worth a
  22. look, anyway.  I can dig up the toll free 800 number which you can dial up
  23. for a free trial run if anyone wants it.
