- "isn't that expensive". Where do you come from? If you look at it,
- the $5 pays for log-on only. After that 99% of the services that
- really make a difference cost you clocked at $13/hour. I decided to
- skip Compu$pend after running bills in the $300-$400 region per
- month. It's totally stupid to use a commercial system to provide
- "support". Just consider the numbers. At 900,000 users Compuserve
- only provides access for a small fraction of the actual users of
- software. Everyone else is left out. We'll see how long it takes
- for the Borland and Microsoft guys to realize that. Things certainly
- look different from a cubicle on Microsoft Way, on Scotts Valley Drive
- or at the CIA.
