- DOS 7 ???
-
-
- How long will the DOS users be led as a donkey to the water???
-
- In my opinion, bringing a new version of DOS, calling it version 6.00 (when
- it is (if frisk is right) only a upped- and repackaged DOS 5.00), is pure
- insult. It is like being hit in the face with a wet fish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
- I mean, DOS is a single tasking, single user, program loader.
- It doesn't have any wildcard expansions build in. Every program must
- expand the wildcards for it self.
-
- I "Love it" when I'm running a program under DOS on a machine that has (say
- 4MB) and getting the error message: Not enough memory (knowing that that
- memory came from the drasted 640k memory pool.) When I _know_ that there
- are at least 3MB more memory available.
-
-
- (more ravings from me are deleted to protect the innocent at heart :-)
- and all flames are directed to /dev/null)
