- The 8-bit card they supply will not work with linux (no driver). Iomega
- supports the adaptec 1542B card under DOS (or Adaptec supports the
- Bernoulli drive; can't remember which). Ultrastor does not support the
- Bernoulli drive under dos, unless you want to reboot everytime you
- change disks ('cause DOS only reads the HD info once...). I have no
- idea how it will work with an Adaptec card.
-
- I tried to get info from IOmega on the card supplied (but made by Rancho
- Technologies), but their phone people don't seem to know, and they have
- not answered my email sent Friday, October 30....
-
- Currently I use my Bernoulli only under DOS, but It has allowed me to free
- up additional HD space for Linux. BTW, additional disks are $138-$149
- depending on where you shop.
