  11. I used crontab -r!  I discovered that crond stops working while testing
  12. uucp. I repeatedly reset the time in the crontab by editing a copy, and
  13. then crontab -r newtab.  After that, no crontabs were executed, including
  14. the root crontab which continously echos "Hello" to /tmp/cron_running.

  16. Try updating a non-root crontab and post your results.

  18. Maybe I have some kind of permissions problem?
