  24. I have a Digicom Scout Plus ($269 + $10 shipping) from a comp.dcom.modems
  25. offering a couple months ago.  It's v42/v42.bis, v32/v32.bis, send/receive
  26. fax, comes with WinFaxLite and DosFax software.

  28. I couldn't be more pleased...only thing it doesn't like is a PEP
  29. tone as the 1st tone when calling a WorldBlazer (who does ?).

  31. I get about 1620 cps zmodem downloading from ProcommPlus and about
  32. 1300 cps downloading compressed news under Linux from a Telebit Trailblazer.

  34. The only thing I haven't tried yet under Linux is incoming calls with
  35. uugetty.  It *does* work fine with incoming calls under DOS Waffle.
