- I need some help on installing a new kernel. It turns out the mods
- that were recommended to remove the SCSI drivers messed up my cc job,
- but by restoring everthing to the Makefiles, it compiled cleanly after
- that.
- Now that I have a Image file and I did the Make Disk and have a boot disk...
- Whats the next steps?
-
- Do I copy the Image to the root dir and then reboot with the new boot disk?
- Does the new boot disk have to be modified to tell it what boot device
- (Partition) to use? I did specify this in the Make file though.
-
- Thanks Guys
