- Hi Linuxers,
-
- I've just got my 486DX-33MHz 8M ram 200M Hard drive Gateway-2000.
- I am planning to create 3 partitions my harddisk, two for DOS (C:,D:)
- and one for Linux (50Meg). First, my gratitude to those who made this
- FREE Un*x available to public. Thanks.
- So, where am I supposed to start?. Can I just use DOS fdisk to create
- my 3 partitions, and start loading SLS package to last partition?,
- or do I have to use Linux own disk partition utils ?. Also, if anybody
- out there, installed Linux (including X8514) on his/her Gateway-2000
- 486DX-33MHz machine, PLEASE let me know how you did it..(especially X8514,
- clock speeds and etc..) I appreciate any help. Thanks.
- Happy hacking..!!
