  10. Right now I'm running the MCC release of Linux without any of the X stuff and
  11. I was wondering if there was any way to display graphics files (*.gif *.bmp,
  12. etc.) If I can do this then that dos partition might continue to shrink.

  14. PS -if anyone has some free time I'd appreciate any information you have on 
  15. *nix packages.  In the future I would like to be able to use Linux as my 
  16. primary OS but first I have to replace my dos word processor, comm program,
  17.  etc.  Also, what exactly are the benifits of having X?
