- Right now I'm running the MCC release of Linux without any of the X stuff and
- I was wondering if there was any way to display graphics files (*.gif *.bmp,
- etc.) If I can do this then that dos partition might continue to shrink.
-
- PS -if anyone has some free time I'd appreciate any information you have on
- *nix packages. In the future I would like to be able to use Linux as my
- primary OS but first I have to replace my dos word processor, comm program,
- etc. Also, what exactly are the benifits of having X?
