- I have compiled ghostscript version 2.5.2; it compiles very nicely
- with very few little changes, but I can't get it to run; when I try
- I get a message saying "Initializing ..." for about one second, and
- then "Unrecoverable error."
-
- I tried the pre-compiled version at tsx-11.mit.edu, included in the
- SLS disks; but when I try to run that, I get a message saying:
- "Can't load libX11so.2.0", or something like that. I created a link
- to the X11 libraries I have (version 2.0, from the same disks), but
- then it aborts saying:
- "Can't load library. Incompatible version."
-
- Has anybody made it work? Also, how do I tell which printer device
- to use?
