-
- I'll hopefully be jumping int Linux World this weekend. I ordered an
- UltraStor 14F SCSI controller yesterday (Tue, 11/10/92) and should have it
- on the 13th. I will probably do the controller swap that night and hope
- to begin installing Linux (SLS release) this weekend.
-
- I wasn't planning on getting a new SCSI controller, at least not so soon,
- but I have been finding more things that don't support my Always Technology
- IN-2000 and that bugs me. ;-) ;-) I already verified that my DOS tape
- backup software supports the 14F as does OS/2 2.0 but don't know about QNX
- yet (but will eventually find out).
-
- I'm in the process of collecting all the SLS release files now, but am
- going to have to add another 30 Meg to my public files partition so I have
- enough room to make it all available for D/L and Fido-Net technology file
- request too. I'm going to have to replace my 200 Meg drive with something
- larger real soon, but won't be able to do that until sometime next year.
