  14. I'm using a Twincom 14.4 DF modem after years at 1200/2400 baud and
  15. Linux 0.98.3 is qite happy talking to an identical modem on a Sun at
  16. full whack with error correction and compression.

  18. I've got it working with uugetty, but only if I set it to auto-answer.
