  15. I just installed l98pl4 obviously this broke my emacs and other programs.
  16. I grabbed the source for emacs but I for the life of me, don't understand
  17. how to compile the beast.  The README file mentioned setting $EMACS to 
  18. something and $BUILD to something else.  First, I don't understant what 
  19. they mean - that is, what directories they are talking about. Second, how
  20. do I set $EMACS and $BUILD ???? I am truely and utterly confused.  Seriouly
  21. considered going back to l98pl3 till such a time that there is a new SLS
  22. or MCC release.  Any ideas???  I'd much appreciate it.
