- Now that 98pl4 has NR_OPEN as 256 quite a few programs that use select
- syscall are going to fail. They need to be recompiled. Therefore I request
- the original contributors of such software to help again to recompile them.
-
- While doing so I also would like to ask the following. I am currently using
- Epoch and the original contributor alsaggaf@athena.mit.edu (M. Saggaf) has
- decided not to support it. Can some one using lemacs tell me whether the
- epoch-specific lisp files work with lemacs? If not can some one tell me
- whether the following is possible with lemacs:
-
- I start the server in icon mode
- I type estart aaa and lemacs opens a new screen and allows me to edit aaa
- I exit editing aaa and the screen vanishes buffer deleted and lemacs is
- back as an icon
