- I'm not including text here because this newsreader seems to be too
- stupid to do so.

- Look at the source for vixie-cron and find the poke_daemon function, it
- will answer the question of how crond knows that its files have been
- updated. Incidentally the source seems to indicate that the best method
- of notifying crond is to use the crontab -r function rather than the
- more brute force methodology of over-writing the file yourself. The
- source will explain this as well.
