- Yes, I have also had this problem running SLS .98 pl1, though I somehow
- feel it wasn't to do with SLS (?). When I used mtools, and then re-booted,
- the hard disk info was lost. It was my first time using mtools, and
- I didn't mount the hd, so I figured that was the problem. But now someone
- else seems to have this problem, so now I'm not sure. BTW, the start-up beep
- got screwed too, and it's never been the same (could be the error beep, but
- I can't seem to find a config. error in the CMOS, and I can't tell if its
- the normal BEEP or the error BEEP becuase it got mesed up).
