  27. It's a good idea, but you can get by.  (buying a new SPARC is also a 
  28. good idea, but we can't have everything :-)

  42. Look at the files Xconfig.Notes, README.trident, and modeDB.txt in the
  43. directory /usr/X386/lib/X11/etc of your Xfree1.1 distribution.
  44. Basically, your video timing values are off.  Calculating video timings for
  45. the best resolution (given your slow dot clock) are explained in 
  46. Xconfig.Notes.  At 1024x768 I would expect some flicker though.  Can
  47. you live with 800x600? (you would probably have more luck with that resolution)
