- Who can explain to me why my X windows is so disgusting looking
- along the Y axis? It's all fat in the middle of my expensive new
- screen and there are no borders. It's enough to make one vomit.
-
- Could this have anything to do with the fact that my Trident card
- only does 44.9MHz? I'm a little worried about that. Is 72Hz a
- good refresh rate for 1024x768? Does the Tseng have a good enough
- pixel rate (I'm thinking >= 62MHz)? I'll junk the Trident card as
- soon as somebody tells me it's a good idea.
-
- Barring any helpful comments on the above, I'd like it if those of
- you in the know could suggest a way to get a right angled display.
- I'm using a ViewSonic 5E (supposed to be 72 pictures per second in
- 1024x768, non-interlaced VESA standard). I'll gladly supply more
- information if you need it.
