  12. Who can explain to me why my X windows is so disgusting looking
  13. along the Y axis?  It's all fat in the middle of my expensive new
  14. screen and there are no borders.  It's enough to make one vomit.

  16. Could this have anything to do with the fact that my Trident card
  17. only does 44.9MHz?  I'm a little worried about that.  Is 72Hz a
  18. good refresh rate for 1024x768?  Does the Tseng have a good enough
  19. pixel rate (I'm thinking >= 62MHz)?  I'll junk the Trident card as
  20. soon as somebody tells me it's a good idea.

  22. Barring any helpful comments on the above, I'd like it if those of
  23. you in the know could suggest a way to get a right angled display.
  24. I'm using a ViewSonic 5E (supposed to be 72 pictures per second in
  25. 1024x768, non-interlaced VESA standard).  I'll gladly supply more
  26. information if you need it.
