- 0.98 works beautifully on my 486DX/33 ISA bus motherboard from Orchid
- with 16MB.

- I don't know of anyone having problems related to any kind of 486.

- I am not familiar with the FAQ entry that you mentioned, so I am not sure
- just which issue the FAQ could have been referring to. Some older 486
- motherboards had problems, but those are fixed. (Gateway 2000 had some
- bad ones for awhile, but they replaced them for anyone who asked.)
