  10. Ok, as you can see, I'm not posting this message from my Linux
  11. machine.  This is causing me great pain.  I've installed the
  12. mailpak-1.3 and have got elm and mail working locally.  Mail sent
  13. locally works cool.  Only problem is, any mail I try to send outside
  14. my system ends up in dead letter.  I've got a paths file with my
  15. smart-host defined, and I've tried it with smail and without...
  16. Here's the way it all looks...

  22. Nothing else...

  24. When I don't use smail, externally sent mail ends up in dead.letter.
  25. Elm tells me the mail is sent.  In my /usr/spool/uucp/bobsbox
  26. directory, there is one file.  The C.??? with the data

  31. Nothing else.  My mail is in /tmp/dead.letter, and I get no errors
  32. beyond that.  No logs for uux, nothing...

  34. When I use smail, the same type of thing happens, but instead of
  35. dead.lettering the mail, I get an "undelevered" error, with the error
  36.  
  37.    Error executing 
  38.        uux -aroot - bobsbox!rmail '(ludwig)'

  40. So, anyone know what's going wrong?
