  20. Well, yes, I didn't expect a perfect system and indeed wanted
  21. to learn more about unix instead of just using it.

  23. However if we want linux to have a future (with sun solaris
  24. coming to 386 computers in march), then linux should already
  25. have quite a good distribution by this time. Currently for
  26. newcomers it's really difficult to set everything up.

  28. At least there should no vital files be missing in the
  29. standard distributions and dangerous files (fstab, lilo/map, 
  30. mtab) not be there twice on different disks.

  32. If I have some time when I have linux running with tcpip,
  33. I will possibly write a short introduction how to install it
  34. with the currently available packages. What to do and what 
  35. not to do. I don't know yet if I will find time for it but
  36. I will try very hard.
