  14. I boot from a diskette, myself.  None of them new-fangled, fancy hard
  15. disk boot programs here.  Them gives only trouble, mark my word.

  19. Actually, for quite a while there have been warnings against using
  20. Shoelace, since it doesn't work very well with newer Linux kernels
  21. (there have been problems with too big kernels, at least, I think).
  22. The recommended way is to use LILO, the Linux Loader program.  A new
  23. version was recently announced.
