  18. There had been some complaints on the net that this drive would not
  19. work with Linux.  Someone called Maxtor, and Maxtor suggested that their
  20. new ROMs might fix things.  I put Linux on a disk dated August 1992,
  21. and it was no problem.  I don't know about the earlier disks, though.
