  14. I'm using the 0.98 bootdisk/rootdisk pair, binutils.TZ from nic.funet.fi,
  15. gcc2.2.2d from the GCC directory, and I'm trying to install/compile
  16. and having problems, I think:

  18. 1) the 0.98 kernel. I followed the directions for removing SCSI from the
  19. kernel and I recompiled. I got a few warnings. They didn't look too
  20. serious, but warnings on a kernel compile make me nervous... Should
  21. I worry?

  23. 2) the mailpak-1.3 tar. I had errors and warnings... uucico failed on
  24. redefinition of function parameters, if I remember correctly... The
  25. README said it hadn't been tested for 2.2.2d, just for 2.2.2... Is
  26. 2.2.2d 'at fault'?

  28. I don't want to waste group time. If you can help me, drop me a note,
  29. please. If you are suffering also, please let me know... If there's
  30. a list I should be specifically aware of or an archive I should
  31. check where this has all been gone over, please mail me where I should
  32. turn.

  34. (I'm a good code hack, I just thought these packages were designed
  35. specifically for gcc and shouldn't produce warnings/errors, so I
  36. thought I'd ask before I tinkered.)
