- Please forgive this if you consider it wasted bandwidth.
-
- I'm using the 0.98 bootdisk/rootdisk pair, binutils.TZ from nic.funet.fi,
- gcc2.2.2d from the GCC directory, and I'm trying to install/compile
- and having problems, I think:
-
- 1) the 0.98 kernel. I followed the directions for removing SCSI from the
- kernel and I recompiled. I got a few warnings. They didn't look too
- serious, but warnings on a kernel compile make me nervous... Should
- I worry?
-
- 2) the mailpak-1.3 tar. I had errors and warnings... uucico failed on
- redefinition of function parameters, if I remember correctly... The
- README said it hadn't been tested for 2.2.2d, just for 2.2.2... Is
- 2.2.2d 'at fault'?
-
- I don't want to waste group time. If you can help me, drop me a note,
- please. If you are suffering also, please let me know... If there's
- a list I should be specifically aware of or an archive I should
- check where this has all been gone over, please mail me where I should
- turn.
-
- (I'm a good code hack, I just thought these packages were designed
- specifically for gcc and shouldn't produce warnings/errors, so I
- thought I'd ask before I tinkered.)
