  16. It's not.  It's 'simply' an X-based text editor, akin to Emacs and the
  17. like.  It's a great editor, but not a WYSIWYG word processor.  The
  18. latest version compiles and works cleanly under Linux (maybe a couple
  19. of quick changes here and there, but nothing major).  The same goes
  20. for the recently released 'sam', which is the Plan 9 editor.
