  12. Every once in a while, my Linux 0.98pl3 system give me a "HD timeout" message.
  13. No harm seems to be done, but it's rather obnoxious.  I'm using a Western
  14. Digital RLL controller (I forgot the model number, maybe WD1006-something?) on
  15. a 386DX-25 motherboard with 4 MB of RAM.  Is there a parameter I can tweak to
  16. fix this?
