  17. Thanks to everybody for the speedy replies. The answer seems to
  18. be as follows (summarized):

  20. There is a XENIX filesystem patch available in 
  21. tsx-11.mit.edu:/pub/linux/patches/xenixfs.patch
  22. I had no time yet to try it, but it says it can handle existing
  23. XENIX-partitions (created by XENIX mkfs, divvy ...), which is 
  24. exactly what I was looking for. Great job !

  26. Due to the different system calls (what about X/Open, POSIX, SysV..?)
  27. XENIX executables do NOT run under Linux. However, there is an ALPHA 
  28. release of a XENIX emulator in tsx-11:/pub/linux/ALPHA/xenix, but it 
  29. says that it isn't all too stable yet.
