  14. Linux (both PL1 and PL3) hangs on me everytime after running 
  15. for a given amount of time ranging from 30 seconds to 30 
  16. minutes. I'd be forced to do a cold boot.

  18. Here's my setup:

  20. UMC motherboard (HEAT chipset (UM82C38x))
  21.    386DX-25
  22. Award BIOS
  23. 4Mb RAM (384K stolen for shadowing :( )
  24. Seagate ST1126A IDE HDD ("swift" family)
  25. Trident 8900 SVGA and Hercules compat. for monochrome
  26. Sound Blaster Pro
  27.  
  28. I recently swapped back to my old motherboard (386SX-16) and 
  29. everything works fine... but needless to say, X is unbearably 
  30. slow.
