  18. There was a color graphics board for CP/M Kaypros -- I know -- I have
  19. one that I bought from one of the engineers that designed it.  It was
  20. made by MicroSphere.  It uses the Texas Instruments TI-9918A chip,
  21. which gives 256x192 resolution, 16 colors and 32 sprites.  This is the
  22. same chip that a lot of game machines and early micro computers used,
  23. like the Texas Instruments TI99.

  25. I had started writing a set of procedures for it with Turbo Modula 2,
  26. but I have not found the time to finish it.

  28. I also remember reading about a color graphics board that plugged into
  29. a standard Centronics parallel port, so you drive it from virtually any
  30. computer.  I think I saw this back in '86 or '87.  I don't remember
  31. what company made it.
