- There was a color graphics board for CP/M Kaypros -- I know -- I have
- one that I bought from one of the engineers that designed it. It was
- made by MicroSphere. It uses the Texas Instruments TI-9918A chip,
- which gives 256x192 resolution, 16 colors and 32 sprites. This is the
- same chip that a lot of game machines and early micro computers used,
- like the Texas Instruments TI99.
-
- I had started writing a set of procedures for it with Turbo Modula 2,
- but I have not found the time to finish it.
-
- I also remember reading about a color graphics board that plugged into
- a standard Centronics parallel port, so you drive it from virtually any
- computer. I think I saw this back in '86 or '87. I don't remember
- what company made it.
