  34. Yes, Coherent is a good OS for news and mail. Mail service works via
  35. UUCP, but not SLIP with Coherent. News requires additional software.
  36. A customer support UUCP bbs is offered to Coherent customers. 
  37. It has some free news software that works with Coherent.

  39. You also get KA9Q from mwcbbs which will provide you with SLIP, but
  40. it does not support nntp or smtp which are needed for internet news
  41. and mail.

  43. These pieces of software can also be obtained over the internet by using
  44. anonymous ftp from raven.alaska.edu.
