- None of the current P8000 players support dual-side play without
- flipping.
- The do support both CAV and CLV, and are controllable by
- computer.
-
- The IBM M-Control Program/2 V2.0 includes drivers to control
- the P8000 (as well as P4000 and P6000 series families, and many
- Sony players). It includes support for DOS, Windows, Windows
- Multimedia Extensions, OS/2 1.3, and (very soon) OS/2 MMPM.
- Most every function you can think of you can do via software.
- The M-Control program includes other stuff as well, as described
- in previous appends.
-
- As for double-player operation, we've had that running for the
- past 7 years, with a variety of applications. So long as you
- have two serial ports, you can have two players. Since both
- output separate video signals, you obviously need a video
- adapter that handles multiple NTSC/PAL inputs, or two monitors, or a
- switching box.
