- Hi,
- This may seem like a stupid question ...after all with full color jpeg's and
- gifs who the heck would be interested in ASCII generated pictures/art/whathave
- you..well I am. I'm particularly interested in art forms that would be portable
- over a variety of platforms (DOS, UNIX, VAX..etc).
- Also of interest are programs that would help in the generation of ..oh..banners
- and the sort. I spent most of the summer trying to come up with some decent
- portraits ..but the more detailed the portrait the bigger the thing got..any
- way that's all I'm looking for ..er..and I apologize for not posting in the
- XXX.wanted newsgroup 'cause I had typed in more than 2/3 of this before I
- realized where I was.
