  14. I have a configuration question about sendmail that I hope someone can
  15. help me with.

  17. I have configured my sendmail.cf file on all systems except for my UUCP
  18. gateway to forward all unknown addresses to the gateway. Thus the gateway
  19. receives UUCP and SMTP requests.

  21. Our only connection to the outside world is through UUCP. I have configured
  22. the sendmail.cf file on the gateway for forward unknown UUCP style addresses
  23. to our UUCP connection. This works fine. What I cannot figure out is how
  24. to have the gateway forward the SMTP addresses to our UUCP connection
  25. using UUCP.

  27. I posted this request to comp.sys.hp, since I am using HP-UX 7.0 and 8.0
  28. through out my network. I received some replies that suggested changing
  29. the #tcp part of the 'unresolved smtp addresses to the smtp relay"
  30. with #uucp. This did not work.
