  13. `Scuze me if this is a VTQ (Very Trivial Question) but I have the following
  14. problem:  I have a LONG list of aliases in my .mailrc file, and I would like to
  15. list each person's *real* name on the same line with their alias and e-mail
  16. address.  E.g.,

  18. alias john userjohn@his.address.etc      # John Smith
  19.  
  20. However, the above example doesn't work.  I've tried a few other variations
  21. without luck.  I would like to put the comment on the SAME line as the alias
  22. since otherwise, doing it like

  24. #  John Smith
  25. alias john userjohn@his.address.etc
  26.  
  27. for each address would make for a Very Long List (tm).  Also, having it all on
  28. one line makes it easier to grep the address/alias if I have forgotten it.
