- No, because MSEN is in the middle of those three groups ("somewhat
- less"). However, nearly all the MSEN principals (specificly Ed, me,
- Owen Medd and Mike Wayne) have all been very active in the preservation
- of free mail park services in Michigan. We helped found mi.org, one of
- the first domain mail parks, and still pitch in advice. We still hand
- out the names of the Michigan folks who do it for free. We don't
- regard them as competition; we're delivering somewhat different services.
-
- Mail parks in general are a good thing. We've had workshops on them at
- the LISA conferences the last two years; it was quite disappointing to
- see that some of the same folks from the first workshop came to the
- second but hadn't made one. As a commercial provide I should probably
- regard that as a Good Thing, but I'd hoped for more action.
