- I am using elm (version 2.4 PL2) for Japanese mail. Until a recent upgrade,
- this worked quite well when running elm in a kterm (Japanese version of
- xterm) terminal emulator and using the standard "more" command instead of
- the builtin elm pager. With the upgrade, the treatement of paging seems
- to have changed: Now I can see everything correctly for long mails, but
- get garbled text for short mails. Obviously, elm thinks that for short
- mails (smaller than a screen/page), a pager isn't necessary. I get the
- correct text when I make my kterm window so small that the mail doesn't
- fit in anymore.
-
- This was obviously thought as a feature (more efficiency?!), but for me
- it results in a bug. Is there a workaroud for this problem, a switch in
- the elmrc file or a #define for the source code?
-
- Many thanks in advance for your kind help.
