- I have noticed this happening in ELM2.3PL11 also, but ONLY on 386
- architecture machines. As you say, it only occurs sporadically,
- but I have (of some 20) mail servers 2 which do this on a fairly
- frequent basis. One is running SVR4, the other SCO Unix. I have not
- been able to far to track it down.

- 1. The mailbox group id is changed from 'mail' (or whatever the mail group
- is) to the user's GID.

- 3. ELM in both cases here is running as a setgid (mail) program.
