- I have a similar situation to Syd's. It would seem that the situation
- might be resolved by a (user-level) elmrc "domainnamematch" variable such
- that if domainnamematch is a substring of the fully qualified hostname,
- the machine would be considered local. While giving less than the full
- control planned in 3.0, its more practical than local == originating host
- in this day of "multi-homed" users.
