  24. The 1993 International Conference on Logic Programming will be held on
  25. June 21-24, 1993, in Budapest, Hungary.  Post-conference workshops are
  26. planned to be held on June 24-25.
  27.  
  28. Proposals are invited for the Workshop Program.  Participants will meet
  29. informally to discuss selected technical issues in an atmosphere which
  30. fosters the active exchange of ideas.
  31.  
  32. The format of the workshop will be determined by the organizer
  33. proposing the workshop, but ample time will be allowed for general
  34. discussion.  Workshops will vary in length, but the optimal duration
  35. will be a half day or a full day.  The facilities allow up to 30
  36. attendees per workshop.

  38. Proposals for workshops may be on any topic related to logic
  39. programming, should be between one and two pages in length, and should
  40. include:
  41.  
  42.     o A description of the workshop, identifying the specific
  43.       technical issues.
  44.  
  45.     o A discussion of the relevance of the workshop.
  46.  
  47.     o The estimated number of attendees.
  48.  
  49.     o The name, postal address, phone and fax numbers, and email
  50.       address of the workshop organizer.
  51.  
  52.     o A proposed schedule for organizing the workshop, and a
  53.       preliminary agenda.
  54.  
  55. Workshop organizers will be responsible for:
  56.  
  57.     o Producing a "Call for Participation" in the workshop.
  58.  
  59.     o Reviewing requests to participate in the workshop and selecting
  60.       participants.
  61.  
  62.     o Scheduling the workshop.

  65. Proposals should be submitted by December 1, 1992.  
  66. Notification will be sent by December 31, 1992.
