  11. I compiled perl with the native cc uneventfully, and it passed the
  12. test suite.

  14. I've had no luck with gcc-1.39 or gcc-2.2.2: the former compiled,
  15. but flunked, the latter didn't even compile. If someone has
  16. figured out the correct magical incantations for gcc, and is willing
  17. to share, I'd be much appreciative.
