  15. you have two choices
  16. I)     ftp to ftp.maths.tcd.ie ( i believe) and go somewhere, i do not
  17.        remember exactly, but search a little bit, there are no deep 
  18.        directories. there is a port of perl 4.035 with a POSIX library
  19.        for Think C. I do not use it, but i did not have a great impression.
  20. II)    Great is instead and i use it, the MPW port by Matthias Neeracher
  21.        you can find on ftp.msen.com (or nigel.msen.com) in the 
  22.        directory  /pub/mac/perl? or something like that
  23.        there are  the sources with mac differences, additional files,
  24.        gdbm support, limited support for subprocess (1 only, but hey it's
  25.        something) and two binaries: one is an MPW tool and the other
  26.        is a standalone application. I recomment this one. It has also
  27.        neat graphics (look at the cursor, not a beachball but a camel on
  28.        wheels !!!!).
