- This is a short message to warn those of you that are considering use
-
- of C++/Views from Liant as your GUI class library. I called today to
-
- try and get some help on getting the product to link with my application
-
- when using the .DLL version of the class library, a pretty simple question
-
- but as I found out, a very expensive one if I wanted it answered. They offer
-
- no free technical support, if you want to ask a question and they can answer
-
- it they will charge you $50.00 for the answer. There are no other avenues
-
- of support via the phone.
-
-
-
- I also tried using their email avenue for support as a first resort. I
-
- composed and mailed a message 4 days ago. I've yet to receive any
-
- acknowledgement.
-
-
-
- This is not to say that C++/Views is not a good product, I used an older
-
- version of the product for over a year and it performed very well. But...
-
- if there is no feasible support the best product in the world isn't worth
-
- the time it takes to install it.
-
-
-
- I'm sorry but I think this is pathetic. If this is the level of support that
-
- can be expected from Liant, I think I'll return the product and get a refund.
