I am on the road to converting from Pascal to Borland C++. I know I should probably start off with plain old C first, (please give me your oppinions) but that's how it is. I have been trying to build a couple a programs, the source of which I got from the BBS. I keep getting a link error : undefined symbol **** in module *****. I know it's got something to do with the IDE's setup (Borland C++) as I am able to get some of the programs to compile with their accompanying makefiles, i.e. using the command line
compiler. Should I make an equivalent project file to do the same as what the make file is doing ? Also what is the main difference between Borland C++ and ordinary Turbo C. Is it just the addition of Objects ?
Thanks in advance for any help that I might receive.
Cheers
Craig
