  11. i've been following the discussion of setting up a ftp site
  12. of 3d databases and choice of appropriate file formats
  13. with interest.

  15. people have been suggesting that convertors between different
  16. formats should be provided.  for me using a phigs based system
  17. that has no functions for reading any database abc or xyz, what 
  18. i'd like to see is alongside database jjj in format xyz, code for 
  19. reading database xyz provided - this way the argument is not 
  20. about database formats but rather code formats C/fortran/.. 
  21. and PHIGS/GL/..

  23. anybody think this is a good idea?  anybody got any good
  24. databases and C/PHIGS code for reading them they want to 
  25. let me have?
