- Hi,
- I'm working on a project where we will be texturing a large
- area with many aerial images. Only a limited number of the
- aerial images will be available to the renderer at one time,
- hopefully, the images of the current viewing area. Because
- only a subset of the images will be available to the renderer
- during any frame, these images will be have to dynamically
- created and made available to the renderer. We will need to
- develop a cache mechanism of some sort for the images.
-
- My question is if anyone out there has successfully done this
- at a rate of at least 30 frames a second, and if anyone can point me
- to any literature which describes a similar scheme. Any help
- at all or advice would be most appreciated. Thanks.
